This is my Work in progress on the energy sword. I wanted to give it a more realistic look like the one in the Halo Wars trailer. I still need to work out the handle and texture it but I think it looks good so far. I made it in 3Ds Max.

please do the tutorial, also by the looks of it the same technique (hopefully) could be allpied to a soul reaver model or a laser.

what are your setting for the energy glow and such? Looks nice, but the handle needs work.
